Sexual misconduct and gender discrimination in Pittsburgh area media

How are women who work in Pittsburgh area media responding to the current wave of women speaking out against sexual misconduct, abuse and gender discrimination?

The Media Chicks Network will host a panel discussion based on the recent events affecting women in the local media following the #MeToo and #TimesUp movement.


This event is co-sponsored by the Center for Media Innovation, Pittsburgh Black Media Federation, PA Women’s Press Association, IABC Pittsburgh and PRSA Pittsburgh.

Media Chicks Network is a Facebook group with over 200 members of women who serve in the media from Washington, DC, Virginia, Maryland, Houston and Pennsylvania.
