Throughout the year, IABC chapters around the country host their own local award competitions, similar to IABC/Pittsburgh’s Golden Triangle Awards program. Several partnering IABC chapters frequently need members from Pittsburgh to volunteer to judge entries, and provide scores and feedback on the materials.
Being an IABC competition judge is the perfect opportunity for you to become more involved in our organization. By volunteering to judge competition entries, you can:
- Learn about best business practices in communications from other companies and markets
- Connect with professional communicators across the country
- Discover what other regions and cities nationwide are doing to earn their “communication stripes”
- Use your expert professional knowledge to give honest opinions and advice on areas of improvement for other chapters.
And, both first-time and experienced judges are always welcome!
If you would like to learn more about competition judging opportunities, or are interested in receiving notification when chapters approach IABC/Pittsburgh seeking judges, please contact IABC/Pittsburgh's Vice President of Judging Relations.
